2015 is the year of light

The European Physical Society declared 2015 the international year of light and light-based technologies. So, this year more than any time, Physics has the duty to give a clear answer to the question “WHAT IS LIGHT?”. While there are at least five different models used currently in sciences and technology up to date, there is no unified view about this very basic, natural phenomenon. I’ve found a handful of references where the authors mention that A. Einstein, until the end of his life did not relinquish to raise this question at different conferences. And this problem is still there today.

I am convinced that once we understand better the nature, behaviour and the laws governing the smallest, the Planck-scale, we will be able to give a definitive answer to this question.

On this site, above in the menu you will find my suggestions to describe correctly the Planck-scale and light.
